The skin of the hands is poor in sebaceous glands. Hands regularly need to be hydrated, nourished and protected. To take this reflex, I suggest you make a small solid balm to always have with you!
Material
- A mold
Ingredients
- 50g cocoa butter
- 15g of argan oil
- 15g oily Calendula macerate
- 8g of beeswax
- 5g vegetable glycerin
- 6 drops of vitamin E
Steps
Melt the beeswax in a bain-marie then add the cocoa butter. Place the mixture off the heat and add the other ingredients. Whisk to obtain a homogeneous consistency. Pour the mixture into a mold and refrigerate for 1 hour so that the consistency sets.
The balm can be kept for up to 6 months away from light and heat. Ideal for the whole family.
Apply the balm in a circular massage on your hands, feet or body. On contact with the skin, the balm melts. Feel free to apply liberally to very dry and damaged areas.
You can use vegetable oils or butter of your choice. You can also add a few drops of essential oil.
To take care of your hands on a daily basis, here are some tips:
Wash your hands with lukewarm water. Water that is too hot or too cold attacks the epidermis. Dry your hands thoroughly after each wash. Use a soft and natural soap like real Marseille soap. Exfoliate your hands once a week using coffee grounds mixed with sweet almond oil.
