What is armpit detox?

This is a treatment to do as a cure that will help unclog the pores of the armpits, eliminate toxins and potential chemical residues. It is in a way a deep cleaning of this too often forgotten area. The Detoxifying treatment will also help remove any unsightly brown spots. This area is sometimes over-stressed, toxins accumulate and bad odors appear. Because yes, perspiration is a normal mechanism, but bad odors are due to the toxins that the body eliminates. Arms in the air to you the armpit mask!

Homemade armpit detox treatment recipe

Utensils to prepare your homemade armpit detox treatment

  • A glass, wood or ceramic bowl
  • A wooden soup spoon

Ingredients to prepare your homemade armpit detox treatment

  • 2 teaspoons of green clay
  • 1 teaspoon cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of sage hydrosol
  • 5 drops of coriander essential oil and 3 drops of rosemary essential oil (optional)

The steps to prepare your armpit detox treatment

Mix all the ingredients to obtain a homogeneous texture. Neither too liquid nor too thick to apply easily.

Place in a thick layer on clean armpits (about 15min). Arms in the air of rigor! Rinse with clean water. Clay treatments tend to dry out quickly once applied. The clay which dries and cracks attacks the skin and dries it out. To make the most of the clay's active ingredients, do not hesitate to spray the area with the hydrosol of your choice when you feel it is starting to dry. Thus, you can keep the mask on for 15 minutes without suffering from skin dryness.

How to do an armpit detox?

The transition from chemical to natural

Some people switching to natural deodorant find that these are not effective because they are prone to amplified bad odors. This is explained by the fact that the toxins are released en masse. The body needs to regulate itself again. So I advise you to go through a transition phase by starting a detox treatment of the armpits. You should not apply anything under the armpits for 1 to 3 weeks (depending on each) except this mask. If it is impossible for you not to put anything, use a deodorant with a good composition and do not let go, the body will get used to it.

During this cure, you must drink plenty of water to help the body eliminate toxins through perspiration. Sweating is a phenomenon by which the body regulates its temperature. Bad odors are caused by toxins. Thus, you may smell "bad", it's a good sign! The body eliminates toxins. This treatment is to be done every 2 days until you no longer smell bad odors.

Always with industrial deodorants

For people who have not yet made the switch to deodorant with a clean composition, I recommend doing this mask once or twice a month to remove the chemical compounds of the deodorant (phthalates, parabens, aluminium...). These harmful products interfere in the activity regulating hormones and prevent the elimination of toxins.

Already natural

Fans of natural deodorant will also find their account here because after this treatment natural deodorants work much better. To be done monthly.

During the cure, drink plenty of water and eat foods rich in antioxidants (strawberries, artichokes, etc.).

The benefits of armpit detox treatment

The Detoxifying treatment unclogs the pores of the armpits, eliminates toxins and residues of chemical products (aluminum chlorhydrate, parabens, etc.), removes unsightly dark spots. Each ingredient that composes it has active ingredients to allow the armpits to regain proper functioning.

Green clay: Absorbent, healing, disinfecting and soothing

Apple cider vinegar: Astringent and anti-bacterial

    Bien a vous

  • Adeline
