Neutral henna is used in the form of a hair mask. Depending on your hair mass, mix the necessary quantity of powder with hot water until you obtain a paste that is neither too thick nor too liquid. You can add a moisturizing agent (aloe Vera, agave syrup, honey...). Distribute evenly over the entire hair from root to tip, leave the mask on for a maximum of 30 minutes then rinse with clear water before applying your shampoo. Beyond that, it is possible that your hair will pigment.

In combination with another powder rich in saponins, such as shikakai, neutral henna can be used as a vegetable shampoo. Mix the powders with hot water to obtain a paste that is neither too liquid nor too thick and apply all over the hair, massaging as you would with a traditional shampoo. Leave on for 2-3 minutes then rinse with clear water.
