Homemade dishwashing liquid

You don't want to use industrial dishwashing liquid anymore but you're not a fan of the Marseille soap cube?
I have the solution for you, a washing-up product made from ecological, biodegradable and environmentally friendly products.

A simple, quick, economical and effective recipe!

Utensils

  • A container

Ingredients

  • 50 g of Marseille soap in shavings
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 case of baking soda
  • 1 case of soda crystals
  • 2 boxes of black soap

Steps

Bring the water to a boil and during this time grate a cube of real Marseille soap like the one in my e-shop.

Pour the Marseille soap shavings into the water and melt them completely. Leave to cool then add the powders and black soap. Stir, it's ready!

This recipe makes about 750 ml of product.

If the consistency is too pasty add water. Shake before use.

Benefits

Real Marseille soap and black soap will have a cleaning and degreasing action. Always opt for a real Marseille soap to avoid the added glycerin, which gives a greasy film on the dishes and clogs the pipes.

The baking soda neutralizes the limestone for a better efficiency of the cleaning product. It helps dissolve organic deposits on dishes.

Soda crystals are a powerful degreaser. They give shine to glasses, plates and dishes.

My Hummingbird Tips

Opt for sponges and brushes made of biodegradable vegetable fibers such as loofah, a dried gourd perfect as an alternative to synthetic sponge. The coconut brush for scrubbing without scratching and the tampico brush for washing without getting your hands wet. They are available on my e-shop with also the real Marseille soap.

To give even more shine to the dishes, in a basin mix water and white vinegar. Pass the dishes through in the last rinse water. This will remove the last residues.

To your food my hummingbirds ;)

Bonjour comment faite vous pour qu’il soit liquide?
Normalement avec cette recette et ces ingrédients, la formule va forcément devenir une pâte et non un liquide
